As someone deeply inspired by Polish culture, I’ve always felt drawn to the resilience, warmth, and rich traditions of Poland. From learning to cook pierogi with friends to dancing at Kraków’s summer festivals, I’ve embraced every opportunity to connect with this vibrant community. My passion for Polish history and language has led me to explore family roots I never knew I had, uncovering tales of courage, faith, and laughter. Whether it's celebrating Wigilia, exploring Zakopane’s mountain spirit, or just practicing Polish with a friendly “cześć!”, I’m proud to share this journey with others who hold Poland close to their hearts.
My journey with the Polish community began with curiosity—and quickly grew into a deep passion. I was captivated by Poland’s rich history, vibrant traditions, and the warmth of its people. From my first bite of bigos to late-night conversations over homemade nalewka, I felt instantly connected. I started learning the language (tak, uczę się polskiego!) and discovered how every word carries emotion, humor, and centuries of culture.

I’ve celebrated Wigilia surrounded by friends, where sharing opłatek made me feel like part of something timeless. I’ve explored the cobbled streets of Gdańsk, hiked the Tatra Mountains, and gotten lost in the magic of Kraków’s old town. But even more meaningful than the places are the people—open-hearted, witty, and fiercely proud of their roots.

What makes the Polish community special to me is its spirit: the ability to laugh in hard times, hold onto faith, and cherish tradition without being stuck in the past. I feel honored to share stories, learn from elders, dance at folk festivals, and cook traditional meals that always come with a side of love.
